Bob is known throughout the Oregon Zoo for his unique bond with 3-year-old Jolene. Though male orangutans typically don't play much of a role in parenting, Bob is an active father who can often be seen playing with and caring for his daughter 💕

In 2017, the pup soon to be known as Lincoln was found stranded; rescuers from @montereybayaquarium.org estimated he was less than 2 weeks old at the time. Deemed non-releasable by USFWS, that December he moved to his home at the Oregon Zoo to reign as the Prince of Sea Pups.
