And so it came to be that AI tools became an amplifier for already capable developers, rather than their replacement.

I have been using this script for a few years at this point but in Windows 11 for some reason it stopped working. Now, with the help of Claude Code I managed to get it to a state that will reliably nuke the languages upon windows login and then re-installed just US Keyboard beside the Greek kb.

Thankfully, with powershell you can list and manipulate the languages installed and keyboards under them. That said, the bug wouldnt' even show them when queried despite visibly being there and when switching with alt+shift, interfering with my work and flow.

A very annoying bug that is following me across many formats forced me to come up with my own powershell to combat it.

The windows bug has to do with languages being installed in my language bar again and again without my intervention. Despite removing them, they'd come back again.

Just ran some evals on Claude Sonnet 4.5. It's better than 4 on some but worse on a lot. LLM progress is so weird. You really gotta test this stuff on what you care about.
