Remember the 1st Amendment, USA! Keep the church and the state apart.
The “founders were religious men”. Not to the point where they were infringing upon freedom in the name of religion.
So what? Despite of that they made the 1st Amendment. 1st amendment says people are free to fallow any religion or not follow any religion in their personal lives. The problem comes when the state and religion are mingled. If one religion is allowed in politics why not others?
Looking at the current sociopolitical situation in the USA, and the political campaign that led to it, I realized why the founders made the 1st amendment to keep the religion and state separate. Throughout history religion has been a viscous political tool.

Absolutely out of touch. Comparing the increased wages of CEOs to the minimum wages in the past decades. Plus the lobbying from the “health” insurance companies. Millions of dollars in donations to these parties. They are not going to care for the common people in this country.
