29.10.2025 23:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The fun thing is that any website with meaningful traffic basically has to use Cloudflare these days to avoid getting DDoSed by AI crawlers. So another layer of single point of failure.
20.10.2025 20:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Don't have one myself, but from everything I've heard, yep.
20.10.2025 20:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Holy shit this is insane
12.10.2025 01:36 โ ๐ 46 ๐ 17 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Other creative fields like artists and writers get this stuff all the time too. People often ask for free work or want to offer "suggestions".
14.10.2025 05:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah, I'm the same with story-based games. It can be less of an issue with other games, but it depends how focused I need to be on it. I can see the issue with being a wimp though.. ;)
14.10.2025 03:15 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0When I used to work night shifts alone, I usually had a Twitch stream open to kinda have someone there.
14.10.2025 01:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Quite possibly, but I also haven't seen most of the photos that do exist, so maybe there is something I don't know about!
12.10.2025 02:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't know that there is any such photo for me because I hid it so well and I also avoided being in photos, so there's just not that many of me.
12.10.2025 02:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Finished my Storygraph genre challenge last night! Wonโt be doing next yearโs, but proud of getting that done for 3 years in a row! Last book was Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle, which was a bit of a slow burn, but I liked it.

09.10.2025 20:16 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 01. 4 months ago, The Supreme Court gave families a right to opt out of LGBTQ+ education in schools.
Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the case originated, the results are in.
Only 43 families out of 160,000 students have exercised that new right.

I've been more social in the last month than I've ever been in my life. That's not an exaggeration. It's not even close. Things are just clicking, I'm finding communities I fit into, and the anxiety that used to hold me back seems to be dissipating.
06.10.2025 06:32 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Though Iโve had a lot of failures on that front, even in the last year. Itโs important not to give up if it doesnโt work out, as hard as that might be.
05.10.2025 02:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I generally am too. Iโve found some local meetup groups I seem to vibe with and Iโm starting to meet some people that way. Itโs definitely hard, but I think being around people who like you and want you there is one of the better ways to get through this if you can manage it.
05.10.2025 02:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I hear you.. Iโve been trying to make changes to my life to find more socialization to hopefully help with that.

24.09.2025 18:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I find it kind of ironic that my go-to book series as a kid was Goosebumps, and today I'm not really a horror fan.

23.09.2025 17:18 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Finished John Scalzi's The Shattering Peace. It was fun, as his books usually are. Didn't really predict where it ended up going. 4.5/5

21.09.2025 21:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0On the other hand, Iโve been way more social the last few weeks. Went to 3 meetups last weekend plus swim, and 1 this weekend plus swim, and I was social even at swim today, which Iโm often not. Feels like something has changed there.
21.09.2025 21:15 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0So for those who don't know, I left Fatales this week. I've been thinking about it for a few months and I think that's the best thing for me to do in my situation.
21.09.2025 21:13 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah, I'm not a huge TV watcher either. Watching an hour-long scripted show can be hard to focus on. Even watching a Twitch stream tends to have my focus dropping in and out.
20.09.2025 22:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I find it kind of interesting that most people seem to need more energy to be able to read than watch TV, while for me it's the opposite. Reading is my go-to when I'm not feeling up to anything else.
