I know that's harsh but these folks won't learn (or vote) any other way until that really sinks in.

Don't vote against your own economic interest for <insert bullshit culture war nonsense here> and then be sad when it bites you in the ass.

It's not like these folks weren't repeatedly warned what an economic disaster Trump would be. 🤷‍♂️

If it takes some in the electorate some real economic pain to realize their big mistake and realize they reap what they sow, so be it.

🔹 My bet is still on clean energy going forward -- and this move won't be stopping the strong momentum of the clean energy transition. 💪 ☀️ 🔋 🌊 ♨️ 🍃

🔹 After all, we've seen what little tolerance the American electorate has for any sort of rising prices 😡 -- and stymying clean energy, the most cost effective, quickest to build solution will undoubtedly continue to spike power prices nationwide. 📈 💰

🔹 As we inch closer to next year's midterms, I just don't see this picking winners and losers in energy strategy playing out very well -- at least not without some in Congress getting very worried about what it will means for their election prospects. 😬 🏛️

🔹 Despite this vindictive move by the Trump administration, it'll be the most cost effective and especially fastest to deploy tech that will be able to meet the demand -- and that's very much NOT natural gas peaker plants that have a 6-7+ year wait for turbines or expensive, polluting coal. ☝

The need for affordable energy isn't a red or blue state issue -- it's a need for all Americans across the country. ⚡
