Any friends out there have access to this New York Times article that could send me a PDF? You’d be helping contribute to the conclusion of my upcoming Batman book!

So this new “Privacy Display” feature on Samsung’s Galaxy S26 is funny to me because not too many years ago, all the conversation about displays on phones and tablets was about viewing angles and brightness. Now the market is shifting to the opposite.

And Howard Jones was one of my grad school professors. An amazing person and scholar. Never could have imagined being in a list alongside him.

@blakescottball.bsky.social 's Charlie Brown's America is so good for this; accessibly written and deals with subject material that most N. American's would be familiar with using the context of well known characters

When unpacking from a move, you find loads of things you’d forgotten about. The box here is *years* worth of notes and research (doesn’t include all the digital work I did) that went into making CHARLIE BROWN’S AMERICA. Wild looking at it all in one spot!

Remember the Hero: Writing about Cowardice and War Dread Danger: Combat and Courage in the American Civil War originated with my long-time interest in an anti-heroic, non-triumphant approach to war.

If you haven’t checked it out, The Penguin on HBO was excellent. It will be a landmark in this new era of streaming TV and Hollywood film interconnectivity. The acting is phenomenal and the writing is top tier.

Someone someday is going to get ahold of my book collection and wonder why in the world there are all these notes about Batman in the margins of this Edgar Allan Poe biography. 😂

Honored to be featured by Oxford University Press over on that other app. I get to work with some of the very best folks with OUP. So thankful for their partnership!

Finally got the chance to see CHARLIE BROWN’S AMERICA in a real life book exhibit!!! As a grad student, I used to walk around those exhibits daydreaming about some distance day when my work might be on the table. Now it’s got front row placement at the @OxUniPress table!

I was interviewed for a really insightful piece in @TheAtlantic on Snoopy’s unique connection to Gen Z. Check it out!
