The Sword of Kaigen by M.L. Wang

There's a reason this stands as the highest-scoring SPFBO book across all competitions thus far. Absolutely powerful storytelling that left me shocked and breathless throughout. This book is an all-time classic.

I really loved it but really feel like there should be a second book, maybe following the boys as they grow to Mamoru's age
