Due to the Earth-Moon distance only a tiny fraction of the sunlight reflected by Earth reaches the lunar nightside, which reflects a tiny fraction back to Earth, appearing dimmer than the portion directly illuminated by the Sun.

This is table salt magnified and processed under an electron microscope. At the atomic level the arrangement of sodium cations and chloride anions is mostly regular and symmetric, forming a particularly stable crystal lattice structure governed by the electrostatic force.

What you see in the echocardiography is a cardiac myxoma, a rare noncancerous tumor and the most common noncancerous primary heart tumor, usually found in the left atrium emerging from the left side of the atrial septum.

Barnard 68 is a dark absorption nebula with a high concentration of molecular hydrogen and interstellar dust grains. The region is so thick with dust that visible light from background stars is efficiently absorbed, making it opaque at visible wavelenghts.
