I don’t have any clear answer to give them, just doing my best to be present with them as we sit in uncertainty, wondering how cutting our programs and our jobs is Making America Great Again.

Not posting to look for pity. Posting to share the very real implications of this presidency.

This morning I’ve been fielding calls from my teams and our program partners - all of us wondering if our jobs and programs are getting cut.

I work in public health. We help kids learn about the risks of drugs and teach them refusal skills and harm reduction tools. We work in communities to make sure they know how to use naloxone, seek treatment if they want it, and know that there’s help available.

Do the eggs get cheaper before or after they take away my rights? 🫠
