We got very very little snowfall this winter and it's been exceptionally warm all season. With all the dry grassland it's essentially a powder keg.
We're also going to be getting insanely strong winds tomorrow with gusts up to 65+ mph.

Anyway hereβs some moss; I havenβt been taking many snaps lately for Reasons but this one called to me.
A bit of the "circle of life" in the Wye Valley today. Dead and fallen trees lie in a gulley, serving as a surface for dense patches of moss. And all around them, wild garlic is bursting from the soil to welcome Spring.
One of the best subjects I found in the forest today! π
