Meant to post this yesterday, but got busy with places to go! Yesterday was Hooky day! Our traditional day out Christmas shopping with the wife! Hit some normal shops but made visits this time to The Battery and Cobb Galleria for the Christkindl Market!

We don’t go as much as we used to before we had kids…when my wife and I were dating, we’d go to pint night nearly every week!

Deer hit my wifes car last week when she was taking my daughter to gymnastics. So, I’ve taken over that task…got about 30ish minutes to kill, and Taco Mac is around the corner. Twisted my arm, honey.

I selected sports, TV, and movies when I signed up. Basically only following card accounts and MLB/Braves stuff so far...my Discover page is about 60% soccer highlights and AEW. 🤷‍♂️

So far (again, still my first day...), the Discover tab is better than 'For You' on Twitter, but kinda weird that I'm seeing so much soccer content. Not sure what the algorithm is picking up on that points me there...

Good to know there's a remedy. Is it something where it's fine when you start out and it just breaks inexplicably?

I don't think it's a problem for me...I just keep seeing a lot of it popping up on accounts in the feed. Mine appears to be ok (unless I'm just not seeing it?)

He should join us on here...so far (in my 20 minutes of experience), it seems to be a better place.

OK, I'm new here, so forgive the ignorant question...

What's up with all the 'Invalid Handle' stuff? Did people start accounts with valid handles and something glitch? Just a bug they're working through? It's obviously a running joke now...

I do like the opportunity to start fresh. This definitely affords the chance to do something different.

I'll use the term 'cautiously optimistic' as I make my first post on here and test the waters on this potential Twitter alternative.
