Also, working on these games was weird/surreal sometimes in a way that didn’t make any sense. Everyone who did probably has some strange story to tell, like that one time I came into the office on the weekend to set up a buggy pre-release build of 4 so big Rock Band fan Seth Rollins could play.

Attempting to revive this was a labor of love by everyone involved, from the massive lift of making sure legacy DLC just worked to bringing new instruments to market. After I ruined my Ally, I got an OLED Deck and it’s great. I miss being able to play GamePass games and have the flex of Windows, but I’m happy enough with what I have between the Deck and S2, that $1000 for a thing I’ll probably drop on the floor of a plane because I’m a klutz feels rough!

I really want the Xbox Ally X, but I’m recalling the time I spilled a little water on my Ally and it turned into a paper weight, so I’m struggling to pull the trigger at $1000. And I’m absolutely fiscally irresponsible.

Will say I'm excited to get a chance to work with Dale in some capacity again after all of these years. Hard to believe our early games industry journey starting with Destructoid brought us to where we are, and I'm super happy to have brought him on board to score Yarn Owl's Demi. Perfect fit.
