Not enough 😅 I also seeded these in April, wasn't getting germination, planted a bunch of lettuce there and then the carrots germinated. I never really could think them cause of the lettuce, so I'm just looking at is as bonus carrots anyway 💰

Finished separating the seeds from the amaranth 🌱.
I got about 1/2 cup of grain from one plant. It took me about 2 hrs to harvest and winnow over the course of 2 days.
A lot of effort for only 1/2 cup of grain but it gave me the opportunity to slow down and have a nice meditative experience.

What brings me joy each morning when I step outside is witnessing how our landlord’s decision to replace the grass with a pollinator garden attracts many pollinators. This strip has also done an excellent job handling stormwater runoff! Our streets can look like this with investments and care 🌳🐝✨
Does anyone know what's up with my tomatoes? 🍅 A bunch are splitting on the bottom but still seem to be growing fine. Is it an issue that will resolve itself, or should I pull them?
