Have you seen that Greek myth book where it has blue text telling the "normal" story and then you put a blue sheet of acetate over the page and it reveals the same story from the woman's perspective?

I now can't find it - but there's some nice stuff here about perfect Samian ware being given to the gods as dedications but old/worn/repaired stuff being found in graves in Britain: www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

I read an interesting thing recently about how there were communities where Samian ware was often mended, and others where it never was (because only pristine pieces were valued? Because they could easily get more? Who knows)

Journalists, why not reach out to some of the fine people in my replies to ask them how the British Library cyberattack of 2023 has had an impact on their research, their creative work, and their careers? This could make for a powerful piece revealing the human side to the damage this has done.

Yes, when I first learned about the very long fixed terms at the same interest rate/mortgage payment in the US, I was surprised! A rare example of the US socialising something more than everyone else, I guess.

I think it was @alexandraerin.com who said to the effect of:

"The purpose of a college essay is to prove understanding of the material, not to produce a college essay. There is no global shortage of college essays that needs to be automated."
