There's something bothering me lately. Have been debating myself if worth mentioning it, or just ignore it. Couldn't stay silent.

He's quite handsome.

It's soul crushing, ngl. That is a trauma that is going to stick with me.

As much as I try to "let live" and suppress the "what ifs." Something changed that night. That is something I will not be able to get back now knowing how brittle my spine is now.

I will certainly, Silver. It'll be a few months though due to needing to move closer to the Twin Cities for my care.

Thanks. This new injury altered my world view. That is a level of debilitating pain I wish for no one.

Thanks Silvermane. The last week really set me on my back foot with all the sudden charges and nothing to show for it as of yet.

Anyway, that's now out of my system.

Because of this event, I'll have to scale back spending. That means reoccurring charges will have to end. Such as pateron. Sorry folks, but knowing the path forward gives me some to work on.

A paradigm shift has to occur now where I have to reconfigure my life to accommodate living with a permanent spinal injury.

Like, sorry for the long commute in rush hour hon. But I'd rather be near a doctor and provider system who gives a damn. 😮‍💨

There is no empathy which, in that moment, the trauma I was in - thinking where I could not set my body upright ever again.

The terror my spouse was feeling about how powerless they were, when touching me made the 10 out of 10 pain worse.

A change occurred that night where a part of me died.

American health care continues to show how fucked up it is.

Like, sure. Drain my bank accounts. But, don't expect treatment for a torn spinal disk for several weeks.

Seriously - I was in such extreme pain, that I could not stand. And without a huge ER bill, I cannot even find out what happened.
