Joethazar Sham-Writer Aberdraxi, one of the four (possibly three) best authors in Bath.

The Devils by @joeabercrombie.com was great! The characters are fantastic. Vile and wicked yet warm and lovable. I won't forget them, nor the weird, alt-history world.

I can definitely see some areas that could have been shortened, but not a lot. The plot one is difficult. The "journey before destination" joy of the first few books was definitely lost, because this was literally the destination book. Definitely hoping book 6 gives us some Way of Kings vibes again!

This series is a storytelling masterpiece.

Is it perfect? No. Do I have nits? Of course. But I'm convinced that there's not a single other author who could have pulled off the scope and breadth achieved in the Stormlight Archive. It's utterly astounding.

I woke up at 5:00am and couldn’t fall back asleep because I dreamed that a black panther had entered my home and attacked my son so I knocked it out with a baseball bat and hogtied its legs with duct tape.
