This might be the best piece of anime news in the last year and a half (since Discotek announced Berserk coming to Blu-ray)

New dub is killer but will this also include 4K like the previous release or Blu-ray only? Would be disappointing if I had to get the other set just for the 4K resolution.

Checked out Lord of Mysteries eps 1-2 because the dub is out and I’m pleasantly surprised they had the actors do English accents. It’s always a treat when that happens. I wish it happened more often.

Season 2 Blu-ray steelbook

Would prefer to own ARCANE in 4K so curse GKids for making the Blu-ray steelbook covers more appealing to me.

FINALLY ODDTAXI! I was beginning to lose hope. One of my favorite anime in the last few years. So underrated and glad I’ll finally be able to add it to mu collection.

WIND BREAKER has pleasantly surprised me each week. It’s dedicated to character introspection. Like half the episodes are about these boys learning to accept “softer” feelings and embrace non normative interests, and the action is very good. Emphasis on solid choreography and hype music. Season 3?

So he’s definitely in the files and it’s BAD bad, right?

It’s fascinating there’s a significant group of people who think Toonami ended like 10 years ago when it is still going today. They just announced they’re airing DAN DA DAN! They just aired a new anime by the Cowboy Bebop guy and I’ve heard nearly zilch about it On Here.

In the Normal World no one cares which language you consume media. But dab hating in particular is a profitable grift because you can tie it to a “cause” (the sanctity of the Japanese language and creators). The actual translations don’t even matter, most dub hating grifters don’t even watch dubs.

There is no mystery. Everyone acts like there’s some deep reasoning for anything he does. These tariffs like everything else are based on his impulse and ego. It is useless trying to dig for something that is not there.

I've heard a lot of good things about this one. Have the Arrow 4K sitting on my shelf, hoping to get to it real soon.

Pretty vindicating that even though ragebait makes it appear like anti-localizer chuds are a significant part of the anime fandom, the data suggests most people still watch dubs and the industry carries on business as usual and no one cares about these nutcases.

Absolutely infuriating how for a moment we could believe we were free of Amazon exclusives. No new anime after Eva rebuilds for years only for them to rear their heads back and get the new Panty and Stocking (and replace the whole dub cast) and CITY, along with the new Gundam. Will we ever be free?

The issue is they switched over to entirely new animation after episode 1. So simple mistakes or errors could be fixed but making it look like episode 1 won’t happen. Episodes 2-4 look the way they do specifically because episode 1 was too expensive. It might be worth owning for Ep 1+extras but ehh.
