Aadavan in 2023 and him in 2025, the character has changed a lot. His 2023 version was just a short nomad swordsman like Link from Legend of Zelda. His 2025 version is a conflicted mercenary with an adopted child, like Sam with Lou from Death Stranding or Raiden with Sunny from Metal Gear.

Sounds really basic but solely making art with the expectation of popularity + success will poison the well of your artistic spirit, and you won’t really develop an artistic voice if you’re just trying appease your audience at all times, save for a voice that actually isn’t yours

give yourself permission. community will support you, but nurture your instincts yourself. artistry consists of bravery, hunger, indulgence, curiosity, discipline, translation, honing of vision and purpose through repetition and experimentation. branding is a dead end goal. don't go on the computer.
