My favorite Minecraft ARG series is Minecraft Alpha Versions, which is kind of like an alternate history where the game got a public multiplayer branch that eventually develops into its own weird thing. The cool thing is it's more of a mystery ARG than a horror one.

and how squenix went out of their way to destroy all of yuna’s relationships and character development for no reason

The best part honestly is SE refusing to acknowledge X-2.5 and Will's existence at all for the past 10 years. They very clearly tried to walk it back with the Tiduna content over the years and yet the audio drama is still awkwardly slapped onto the remaster. It's hilarious

FF16 wasn't a failure in either review scores or sales. FF fans just like to pretend it was so they can "prove" that people don't want action games and therefore make FF go back to turn-based. It's why they keep parroting 'it's a DMC knockoff, not a real FF' over and over. It really is that petty.
