I take at least 3-4 weeks to write a short story, and that is on the fairly faster end. also being in the disability community myself I've heard a lot of folks note that it's just outright impossible for many of them to write in such a brief period of time. so we wanted to be cognizant of that 💜💜

also queer writers and poets please do peruse the submission guidelines and put the submission window dates in your calendar!

we emulated magazines that list their submission windows well in advance because frankly surprise brief submission windows are ableist as shit soooo *whistles innocently*

okay but i wish instructors at college were like this LMFAO. that's very smart and good and I imagine helpful with complicated programmer-y things

with how my brain go NYOOM if I listen to anything below 1.5 it is like literal physical pain to my brain because it's bored, the instructor is talking slow WHICH IS GOOD but now my brain is repeating the words internally to retain them and it's like holding a phone next to another phone on speaker.
