Well that's something that should be terrifying if I weren't already numb to the horror.

I hope for a future where I never again have to read a quote like "I always thought climate change was something that affected other people." Olivia, we are all "other people" to someone, and we all matter. That. Is. The. Whole. Point. Someday, it will come for us, and no one will be left to care.

People who have a hard time affording groceries chose to vote for the person running on Tariffs (which make everything more expensive) and they wonder why they get mocked. It's hard to take someone seriously when they tell you "My nose is bleeding! Please punch me in the face to fix it!"

Worst still is that when things inevitably get continually worse, they will find some way to blame you and I for it instead of ever admitting that they were wrong.

By the by - I still find the symbol to be "an especially difficult symbol to interpret" after a light google search. I'm fairly certain I don't have the background context, but without it the search yielded only more questions.

Sending a tip directly to an up-and-coming author (and also writing a review on Amazon or Goodreads or your social media of choice) really is the most efficient way of helping them out though.
