Thanks!
Me too! 🧶 this for my daughter's birthday. No pattern just made in a style that my daughter likes. Still working on having even tension but as long as she's happy with it, I'm happy.
💯 This is the difference my dad can't understand but my mom can. He can YOLO if he likes because my sisters and I are grown. My kids are still far away from adulthood and my goal is to get them there with as much of their health intact as I can.
I 100% believe they've all had it more but they only do nasal swabs so they aren't catching it all the time even if they do test.
So far, the highest I know personally is 4 known infections. They have new issues but nothing stopping them yet. Older relatives are starting to have major organ damage but only linking it to old age.
Several younger relatives are always sick and not yet connecting dots or slowing down.
Well, not sure it matters. They tested and still decided to go on vacation with a group of friends. They did disclose that they were testing positive and the friends didn't care.
It's definitely not over. I haven't heard anyone IRL say anything about covid in awhile but this past week, I 2 people I know tested positive for the 4th time. I'm honestly surprised they bothered to test since no one seems to anymore.
Hi there! I'm glad to find you again
Same. It makes it all the more dire.
I'm already viewed as perpetually "overreacting" to covid concerns. Now throw in all the political/societal concerns and no one will listen to anything I say.
Family and friends are still busy traveling/spending like normal.
This is terrifying. I wish people would wake up and see the trajectory of where this is heading.
Me too. Between trying to survive a pandemic for the last 5 years and now a dictatorship, it's too much.
My grandma died at 63. It was less than 6 months from diagnosis to her death. She went in because she had fluid in her lungs. By that point, it had already spread everywhere. There were no indications before that.
Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel sued to overturn the #AffordableCareAct and take away health care from nearly a million WIsconsinites.

🫂 struggling hard lately
No one I know has gone back to masking. They all just tell me they "hope" or "pray" they don't get sick again. This is all while acknowledging that me and my kids haven't been sick in years because we mask.
My husband is the only one I know who hasn't tested + or been sick w/out precautions.
They are not afraid. In fact, I've been told many times they'd rather get covid than the other random colds or flus that have been taking them out. They don't understand covid is the reason those "colds" are increasingly worse. And they view me as mentally ill for my mask.
Having a strained relationship with my family is foreign for me because we used to be very close. I see them sparingly but we do still drop things off for each other. Today my parents dropped off mangos and in exchange, I gave them a fresh baked loaf of bread.
🫂I'm so sorry for your loss. And these are very dark times.
Just know that there are still people out in the world who care even if we're not all physically in the same area.
Your cable knitting is exquisite!!!

Struggling with this with my family. I'm tired of my info being dismissed. Communicating with them is becoming difficult. Their comprehension is impaired and my patience has waned too much.
Heartburn. I've never had it before but now it is almost a constant, even with diet changes because I can't eliminate the stress.
I'm barely making it through but I'll crawl over into 2025 if I have to. This year has been very hard. I expect next year to be harder. One day at a time...
This is so beautiful!
That's one among many phrases that I'm tired of hearing.
Messaging would be more effective if the speaker was practicing what they are preaching. This is a huge optics issue when experts give guidance without "walking the walk."
