After spending a few days on my submission I challenged myself to evolve it even further into its own unique game that I'd build entirely alone.
I'm feeling incredibly proud of the final result.
In 15 years, everyone in the world will deny that Silksong was ever even a thing that existed. There was no announcement, no demo, and nothing in development.

This advice is common simply because people's attention spans have declined to such a minimal rate these days. I say do what you want to do. But maybe have some gameplay focused trailers in your back pocket to share/use as needed.
