seasonal hot take about the One Piece live action: from what I saw of the new season, they still don't know how to frame characters or build up a scene. Beside every other nitpick I have about the series, the thing that baffles me is how boringly it's shot.

I watched Medarot/Medabots. Hilariously fun anime, one that never takes itself too seriously, but still manages to have a few significant emotional moments. Manages to be a parody of anime that comes from a place of love and it kickstarted the career of some legendary animators.

it's probably something I'm hyper-fixated about X3 I'm the chu who'll ramble for hours on how tokusatsu and mecha perfected the way they make the character moves as an art that adds to the personality and has to be a core element of the scenes. I just think videogames are a perfect medium for that.
I didn't play it yet, but my brother had a complaint that worries me. During boss fights/fight scenes with humanoid characters there's very little flair and personality to the animations of the characters, which would be a real shame personally, if so.
