They’re not embarrassed or ashamed of their nakedness or their bodies.

So, yes - excuse me because in the privacy of my own home with my family I’d walk around and do things all while naked. 

And here’s the thing, little kids love tearing around naked - they don’t care. Why don’t they, because they have not been taught or conditioned otherwise.

Talking of showers, I don’t think I had one on my own for about 8 years straight as other little naked bodies would suddenly appear just like a Star Trek teleporter.

And after all that, little people needed snacks and drinks and more snacks and the house work didn’t stop.

Art and crafts, especially painting and clay is another. Aprons are a waste of money the end. Don’t even bother. There is more paint on the child themselves than the paper. Off to the shower you go Picasso.

Bath time with a toddler is akin to showering with all your clothes on. That is all.

Little kids invariably vomit more so on you than themselves so, it being on bare skin allowed me just to slide into a shower rather than pulling a T over my head and mashing vomit into my own hair.

I was a bit taken aback by the tone of her indignation “What, oh my god you were naked around your kids!”

Well, apart from a sheet I was naked when they were born, and they were naked too so I think that’s makes it even. 

Nudity is practical and little kids can prove it.

Kids love being naked ! It’s fun and practical - when they’re sandy, muddy, sweaty it’s under the shower or hose and back off they go. I cringe when i hear an adult say things like “nudie rudie” because it’s not!
