Hi! I'm one of the millions not getting SNAP benefits this month.

Because of that + the fact that I (not a member of SAG-AFTRA) survived the strike by burning my savings rather than working SL6 or NU…my finances are *rough* but not *immediately dire.*

I'm open to work with clients of all sizes. ✌🏻

What gets me in this video is that people are skeptical: "Is this for real? Is there a catch? Are you rich? Why are you doing this?"

And more than anything, this tells you as much about where US society is than anything else...

My top genres are IF/VNs, RPGs, simulation games, and cooking games. I love mechanics based games. But I also adore a well written narrative game.

This is just an preference for mechanics over narrative based game design. All games need is a gameplay loop- which is why Visual Novels and Interactive fiction are games. Narrative design can also be told through mechanics, environments, and art. Or it can be the whole game. I personally like both.

personally speaking, in 2025, how could anyone argue against anything made by a human to NOT be art when the alternative is so lifeless? it's what defines our intentional output into the world.

I try to focus this account so it's for my readers, but hey writers:

NEVER sign a contract where the publisher keeps your rights indefinitely. For short stories, there should be a point when you can sell reprints.

and NEVER sign your movie/TV/etc adaptation rights to a publisher. Those are yours.

My cheat is reading the transcript of the video, or treating the video like a podcast. I read faster most of the time, so of course I prefer to read.
