Thank you Derek and the fantastic cast and crew for a great show!
Don’t agree with Prime and AmazonMGM’s decision it sucks and makes zero sense! Absolutely heartbroken about the decision
So do we 😢 #couplegoals 🙃
Any news on renewal?
@derekhaaswriter.bsky.social we’re missing #Countdown so much! Any news of renewal and/or any chance of feeding the fandom with some more bts bloopers to keep us going 😭

Loved s1. If s2 gets go ahead could we see Jensen directing an episode maybe - how doable is that?
"This is magic that you can't fake" 💕
I love these two and I hope to see them together again. I am keeping my fingers crossed that @derekhaaswriter.bsky.social gets to write for them again
PS. Using a Jensen song for this edit felt pretty cool :)
There’s a running Russian theme with your villains 😂
I’m really enjoying Todd as the villain and Grant Harvey is a good actor.
I don’t want warm words — I want it etched in black and white into my rib cage that we’re getting s2 😭😭😭
Some of the character build in Season 1 was great, but not always enough and we’d like to see more. If renewed, would you lean deeper into that development as well as the thriller/action genre that we’re loving?
Countdown will likely close its first season on such high stakes, but renewal is still unconfirmed. How do you approach building a season that feels satisfying on its own, while also leaving audiences hungry for Season 2?
I love a good slow-burn enemies to lovers trope. With Mark and Amber will we ever see the pay-off?
Can we expect more scenes with Fitz and Mark/Amber?
He’s a brilliant addition to the show!
Great and as reward can you tell Spirit Mother we need s2 renewal news!
👀
In the beginning, Mark was defined by the sense that his time was running out - it colored his risk and every choice made. Now that his personal countdown has shifted, how do you see that change reshaping his instincts, his sense of purpose, and the stakes for him going forward?
Fab ep 10- loved it
@derekhaaswriter.bsky.social What a brill ep of #Countdown - had me in tears of both joy & heartbreak. A perfectly judged balance of emotion, action & storytelling. Direction was precise, music choices elevated every scene, & production felt beautifully crafted. Immense credit to the entire team 🫡
3. They very well might have! Crossover?
4. Don't be too hard on Amina. Teachers in Los Angeles are really adept at laying the guilt trip on parents! (Just kidding teachers... you guys are great. And who knew it was gonna be a bad day for poetry in the park?)
5. There are so many! There was one that TVline had as a quote of the week and I texted him congratulations. In 108, the lines written were, "I can make ocean noises." "I use white noise." "I can do that." "You are white noise."
So keeping the rhythm "I can make white noise" was all him. 😀
2. Most sound machines here have a setting for "white noise" which is just like static on a radio. She's joking that what usually comes out of his mouth is a lot of nonsense.
1. Not only will there be more cliffhangers there will also be a shoc
All right, it's Sunday!
Once again, you did your part. You must be telling your friends, too! Thank you very much for watching Countdown.
Okay, give me five questions and I will answer them as best I can.
We’re expecting Episode 10 to wrap up the Volchek storyline — but does the Season 1 finale mean the story carries into S2? In other words, are we looking at a clean wrap, or a larger plotline that launches straight into next season?
Episode 9 was brill.
Finau doesn’t follow up at all after Mark’s vertigo attack on the roof. That felt like an odd choice — especially since he’s worked with Mark before — not to show any concern for a colleague in that situation. Was that deliberate, or something you’re holding for later?
It's Wednesday. These two didn't go through all that training for you not to tune in to this week's Countdown.
If you watch this anxiety-inducing episode 9, then I will answer five questions on Sunday.
Don't do it for me. Do it for Meachum and Oliveras.
Superb episode! The torture to wait till next week 😫😭
Volchek is clean, efficient, detached. Mark’s messy, haunted, human. How much of that tension and contrast did you lean into when building Mark and Volcheck’s inner world?
Love the show - s2 pls!!!!
