I've seen this happen countless times: first, they act as a welcoming, safe harbor for everyone, gaining users. Then, they ostracize part of them.

What is even the point of enabling users to self-curate their content if you're still going to do it for them yourself anyway?

I'm baffled that I have to say this, not for Twitter, but for Blue-sky instead.
