The last two #Lorcana sets have strong enchanted card values with the average for each set being over $100 vs $56 for the prior 4 sets.
With rotation announced and extra supply on the early sets, the values have taken haircuts of about 1/3 since the start of the year.
It has been a while since I posted my EV for each #Lorcana set. You can see my past posts guiding you through my logic so I will make this a relatively short thread.
Selling cards for $2 isn't wild. I think like 95%+ of Lorcana cards are under $2. But a legendary on opening day... I don't think racing to the bottom that fast makes sense. Would love to hear if it makes sense to somebody.

For the more experienced player with a $100 budget, beyond rounding out playsets or the R/SR, it might be worthwhile to build positions for other non-rotating legendaries. I think Mufasa, Baymax and Simba seem like they will see more play once there is rotation. ⅞ partner.tcgplayer.com/ra0rnj
