I may also have to watch The Straight Story tonight to really amplify my tears.

When I was 13 he was pretty much the gateway to ‘grown up’ movies after a diet of Amblin and Spielberg. I still remember that January 31 1991 is when Wild At Heart came out on video because I was counting down the days.

I used to do the same with by best friend! We’d walk around the playing field at break and discuss the previous night’s episode. When The Return aired we always watched it together.

The Eraserhead quad poster hangs on my wall so beyond gutted about this. How can we have a world without Lynch? So jealous you have all of Twin Peak to devour. The newest series was a stunning swan song.
