Some of these “romance” angles in Mobile Suit Gundam are just so weirdly paced and unearned. Amuro-Matilda I can wrap my brain around because she prob the first *woman* he’s seen, but Kai-Miharu & Mirai-Sleeger are out of left field and like how’d this happen?

24) Dark Pictures: House of Ashes (PS5)
The best of the first 3 DPA (not saying much) still pales against Until Dawn & Quarry due to character models that look like mannequins & story beats strung along with mild gameplay. Still better than Medan & Little Hope, story is stronger

After a few false starts, watched all of The Thing & enjoyed it

Fuuuuck that’s a nice beefy Animal Crossing update. Shame the memories are marred by my ex :/

Dusted off Hades gearing up for sequel (waiting for physical to drop) and because it’s Rudetober seasonnnnn. Run ended with Minotaur & Theseus fight but it was kinda like riding a bike?

30 eps in. We’re now gearing for the final push tho the military minutia and some un-earned character stuff (boo hoo miharu) is a bit of a drag. The gang needs some L’s but I get that’s not the point of the show - the point is to show off new spiffy Mobile Suits/Armors every episode to sell models!

Superb remake of a phenomenal game. My minor gripes taking away from “perfection” would be some complicated new style controls and the old VO not syncing with the new models. Super minor but such a great game

Don’t normally “log” DLCs (Sorry Rise of the Golden Idol) but this was more fun Great Circle goodness that maybe got better because I stepped away from the base game? Easy to get back into after a biiit of getting lost bc I’m a dummy

Amuro is kind of a chump (I get that’s the point) and Char lives rent free in his head. Also Char rules & he just dogwalks Amuro until plot armor. So far they’re dabbling in the horrors of war while doing rock em sock em robots

After GQuuuuuuX, I’m back restarting the 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam. I tried watching it back on Toonami, but after Wing & G-Gundam, the art & pacing took me out. NOW: I’m 10 eps in & the art and pacing are actually charming for 2025. Seriously one ep was Amuro was sad but the Gundam can jump high 😅
