Saw from the EVO Q/A that many were shocked that I used to be an illustrator. My college major was hand animation. Thus, decided to bust out the Dead Sea Scrolls from the mid 2000s and throw up some art for the next few days. All pen on paper.

Street Fighter 6 Ranked Match splash. A system that only really functions when you have the player base regionally to support it.
Guilty Gear Plus R Open Lobby. It dumps everyone into one room, up to 250 people, and says "have at it", with full connection metrics displayed before you even send a challenge. It looks a little scuffed.
I think fighting games should explicitly ship with two matchmaking modes.
High Player Count: Quickmatch, Rankings, ELO, SBM. Any UX that requires a lot of players to properly function.
Low Player Count: Huge open lobbies, optional ELO, matchmaking is player driven as much as possible.
