I think he would have been better to STAY in university.

He was at university for ONE semester four years ago. And anyone who knows Utah would find it ridiculous to think they are radical or indoctrinate left or promote violence.

As we go through one of those political tectonic shifts I find myself “liking” one of Kristol’s comments…. Are we in another dimension?

The NYTimes a few days ago had an excellent oped with Mamdani fuller responses, not the chopped clickbait and gotchas they used to try to push antisemitism.

It’s not just our country it’s the world. Not all but too many everywhere. A commenter said “S Korea has a ways to go on women rights but at least they care about the welfare of their citizenry”. I said “women are HALF of their citizenry! So no, they don’t. “

This hardcore originalist stuff is more like thinking the constitution is a straitjacket and we are all stuck in amber. What an excuse for racism and hate. I’ll give the founders this-they knew they were f’ed up and they wrote it in the largest language they could so we could grow better.

Andddd….thats the last time your child will say anything meaningful or sincere or true to you as they wait out the years till they can leave home and not let you near their kids. Even if it wasn’t about themselves sooner or later they will know you aren’t right and distrust you.

People constantly miss this-they em bye him with smarts over and over. He’s dumb. And a conman. You don’t need smarts to be that-just a traumatic childhood and a psychotic intuitive sense of how to use people.

They shouldn’t look past his history….But it’s not because of the D. That’s just another blame the dems crack. It’s because too many are caught in stasis and only feel comfortable with the known while easily scared by that which is different (like some of the other D candidates. Need better voters.

I’ve seen a version of that with women. They’ll say “see-this ONE woman doctor in 1890 PROVES there was no discrimination. It just takes hard work and brains and obviously by the numbers men have more of that”.

The assumption always seems to be that only if ALL straight white men have got theirs is it “fair” for others to come to the table.
