We'll start with Diana Ross failing to work the goalkeeper. She'll be disappointed with that.

For top laughs, at one point we were 5-1 up and yet they were leading on xG (1.05 vs 1.57) which is just... I don't even understand how that could possibly work unless were hitting nothing but worldies.

Of all the bullshit matches I've had in FM, this ranks among the bullshittiest. We're top of the Prem and on a 15 game winning run, they're in the Div 1 play-off zone. They carved out FIVE clear cut chances and generated very nearly the same xG as us from less than half as many shots. And the cards!

One was a builder, the other worked in a cotton mill. Generation before that included a railway worker, a carpenter, a farmer, and a don't-know-cos-he-didn't-hang-about-and-great-grandma-didn't-like-to-talk-about-him,.

A very stupid leader who is now in his second term.

Yeah. Plus, even without the financial aspect, what kind of player wouldn't care about getting relegated? Even someone as nonplus as Benny Assou-Ekotto would probably still care!

I'm sure there was a EPL/Football League change that came in a few seasons back where players at relegated clubs took an automatic pay cut regardless of their contract (or perhaps *on top of* whatever was in their contract).
