So I finished Cursed by #marissameyer and not sure how to feel. The ending makes sense in terms of the characters. I'll make a video later about my other thoughts

I keep wanting to go see how people are reacting on tiktok... I privated my accounts, but the fact that other people can still see them does not sit right with me

They really banned TikTok before they banned sending weapons to Israel during a genocide.

I can still "log in" on desktop and access settings to download data and private account (I'll be honest I am afraid to uncheck "private account just in case I can't)

the TikTok algorithm is so good that it even served up the perfect video to act as the background for its ban announcement

It’s important to be clear that TikTok could have stayed up through the inauguration. Joe Biden said he’d not enforce the law.

They made a choice to shut down and display a pro-Trump message. They weren’t forced to.

Let’s be clear: the whole thing is a con. TikTok could’ve kept the app rolling on Sunday but by shutting down & mentioning Trump, he gets to be the savior. One of many examples of companies & billionaires bowing down.

It’s BS. But it’s also the reality. Let’s not give Trump anymore opportunities 👍🏾
