Flick is one of the world's most celebrated lavender-colored bird, and YET, is notably blue today. Swap yells, "Why are you BLUE!?" Flick, without an ounce of worry, looks down at her wings. With a shrug, she responds "I 'unno (don't know)."

5 panel comic.. 1: After the sun has set, Rose hops and skips her way into the Breadhunter's Clubhouse, a funnily complex name for a simple treehouse. 2: She tentatively enters the door and looks around the dark room... 3: Her three friends, Blake, Timbi and Poly come out with a JUMPSCARE! All shouting: "HI ROSE!!" as she throws up her book in fear... 4: It barrels to the ground and makes impact with a loud SLAM! 5: It then cuts to a library... aswell as who must be the mysterious librarian that looks suspiciously like the book. This mystery girl utters "Drats, I've got a headache..."

"Finally... peace." she mutters. 6, 7, 8: Confused by the sheer extent of the quiet area, she thinks: "I think I miss my friends..." as she gazes towards their little tree house, clearly plannin to go down there. "Ill be a sec."

4 panel comic: 1. Timbi is filling up some water in the river... 2. A small fish was suddenly caught instead! "Aw, you're not supposed to be in there, little guy!" Timbi says. 3. Very meanly introducing itself is the bear that prowls this same river. 4. Timbi pets the bear tentatively... ushering its rage with a "Nice kitty... nice kitty..!". During which the bear itself begins to question: "What species group DO I belong to...?"

"It didn't work, we need to up the realism." Blake says in animosity. "Oh, don't worry, I've got a whole pipeline full 'a puppets!" Poly chirps back. 4. Maria can play games too, though. "Well, 'Blake'.. let's go home and eat, then you can have all the sweets you like... and you can also stay up all night... all week." She says whilst carrying this puppet away... Blake screams NO as he's cut off.

A thick, gloomy, gray atmosphere is present, clashing against the comic’s typical colorful nature. A second shot is shown, this time looking up at the roofs of tall brick buildings. Birds scatter about past telephone lines while shouting is heard in the distance, although no words are present. A bright panel flashes forth, with the silhouettes of who characters clashing. One silhouette is of a larger frame, pushing the shorter one off of the steps of a doorway. The frame pulls out, to reveal a younger, shyer Kip lying on the ground, sopping wet after having been pushed out from the door. They lie in front of a dumpster, looking hurt and fragile as a vivid white light spills over them from behind the camera.

Page 24 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. The door slams shut, leaving Kip alone in the pouring rain. Four panels are displayed back to back, showing the progression of Kip’s expressions. They initially stare in shock and disbelief, heavy bags under their eyes. They hold their mouth trying to keep themself together, before collapsing into a quiet sob and folding in on themself. Moments after though, the rain begins to let up on top of them and a gentle reflected yellow light illuminates their left side. They lift their head is surprise. When they turn to their left, they’re met with a young Mason in a bright yellow rain poncho, holding an umbrella over their head. A spotlight seems to shine on them as Mason speaks, “It’s cold out.” Narration continues the scene, “It’s that same look… from when I first met them.”

Mason stares back down, with a flat, cold expression. Despite this, they continue their kind gesture and motion for Kip to take the umbrella. The scene pulls out to show the two characters alone in the pouring rain, sharing in this moment of humanity together as Kip gingerly takes the umbrella. Mason’s boots splash in the water as they begin to walk away wordlessly. Kip scrambles to their feet shouting after her. “Ah! Um- wait, please! Let me thank you!”

Page 26 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Kip scurries after Mason, although Mason continues to look forward, not responding to Kip. They stutter, “It was really kind of you to do that! You really didn’t need to…!” The narration retorts over the next series of panels, “I had no interest in talking. I really thought I had everything figured out. My whole life laid out ahead of me. I got a good job offer straight out of university. Moved out of town for work. Paid for a studio apartment.” A graduation cap and book accompany the narration. Meanwhile, Kip continues to try to speak at Mason, with their speech bubbles being blocked by the characters and narration. They mention moving and having a place to stay in the midst of their frantic appreciation for Mason’s act of kindness. The narration concludes, “I had no friends or family around, and I didn’t need them. I was content living as I was. Day in, day out.” Kip finally calls out, “Um, my name’s Kip, by the way! And you… um…” They begin to trail off as Mason continues to walk off without them. Kip stops in their tracks. “Right, sorry,” before turning around to start walking the other way. “Well, thank you again. I’ll be on my way–” Their text abruptly ends.
