Feeling the pull...haven't logged in since last year I think

incredibly gorgeous game. One of the few games where I would actually stop and take in the scenery and never felt tedium while travelling. Map is also perfect sized in that respect. Red dead 2 is a pretty game but I would zone out while travelling all the time, but this game kept me locked in.

The manhwa for SSS-Class Suicide Hunter is very good but for some reason they removed some of the yuri while leaving other bits in. Apparently there was massive backlash when it happened in the novel

I completely forgot about the zenos line. I think Durance says the same thing in pillars 1 when you disarm traps, so I feel like it’s a reference to that though.

I think part of the problem is the battle music. I can’t even remember it

Regarding the upgrade system in avowed, I personally liked it. Allowed me to focus in on a build by the end of the game. Felt rewarding. I did get really bored of the combat encounters though.

She posted screenshots showing that she regular soft blocks such people, and the guy spearheading the dogpile went “good to see she’s taking accountability, still not a good look” or some shit along those lines. Utterly unhinged.

See Poe player counts go up on steam after the avowed release and I’m really glad. They’re great games. I enjoyed both more than bg3

Watched an avowed review where the guy was mad that some of the checks didn’t have a secret third option that resolves things tidily.

they gotta add more ending slides to avowed. There were some quests that definitely warrant them that didn’t get any. Was very surprised that the aqueduct quest didn’t affect the slides. The final tusks main quest also bugged out for me - where a guy I’d spoken to thought I never spoke to him

The ryngrim-lodwyn scenario at the end of zone 3 was amazing. I had to pause and think about it. Also in hindsight lowkey sexually charged

The end of the third zone - very deadfire

“More of the same” is kind of a silly complaint because what do you expect. It’s not suddenly going to become a different game. At the same time the subsequent zones have some crazy stuff in them that you don’t see in the first one.

Some reviewers talked about how avowed is “more of the same” in each zone and how the first zone got a lot of love but it didn’t hold their interest after that. It’s so weird to me because I feel the exact opposite - that it gets better with each zone.

It’s too bad they had to put Matt Hansen on timeout for being “anti white” lol, he deserves his flowers; the game is gorgeous.

MARIUS IS A MENACE. Very difficult to have him in the party because of this, which is a shame because his story is compelling. Going forward these kinds of dialogs need to be weeded out while writing. Incredibly dated I think.
