Repping one fam in Mpls.
Usually my husband or I will do solo while others have fun or do other chores or whatever. Divide and conquer etc.
however last weekend we did a shop altogether on the way home from somewhere and I LOVED it

I just never pictured Dan! I didn’t know what he looked like. Like a book character. You know? But he’s real 🤪

An aside: it’s a weird juxtaposition feeling a loss of someone leaving your life (via the airwaves) while simultaneously seeing what they look like (via their picture) for the first time ever.

Yes that was me and my sis too! But then I had a fussy baby and I was constantly rocking him and singing to him.

And thus, it became a lullaby!

lol I just told my 7yo that

I love her so much. One of my faves to sing as a lullaby is “sweet and shiny eyes” … and I got to hear it live in 2016!

( I was born years after she recorded it, so I never thought I’d hear it live… and I’ll never forget realizing she was about to play it 😍!!!)
