I still gotta do the postgame, but all in all:
I had a lot of fun. Outside of two very specific sections. And I don't doubt I'll look back on the game fondly. But if someone else says they dislike it, I can't blame them at all. #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

But I also feel for the developers, who likely had to put together this game in record speed in order to buy more time for Ys X's development. Though I am surprised by how many new locations were shown in spite of that #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

...But I've listed my complaints enough. I recognise a lot of the complaints from others, and I stand by saying that the majority of those don't bother me as much. I can see why Daybreak 2's seen as one of the series' lesser entries. #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

And lastly for the negatives: I wish there was a greater focus on the Grendel Zolga. What they did for it... worked, but I do feel that he ended up heavily underutilised considering how prominent he was in the game's promotional material #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

Additionally, I wish Falcom made a greater effort to create an actual route system for the rewinds. Like, how they implemented it in the second half of Fragments was GREAT and I wish there was more of that. But otherwise it's still a trope I thoroughly enjoy #DaybreakIISpoilers #Daybreak2Spoilers

I think I overall enjoyed the OST of DB2 more than DB1's, but Falcom, how long must I keep begging you to keep Singa away from the electric guitar. PLEAAAASE. #DaybreakIISpoilers #Daybreak2Spoilers

Especially since they couldn't be there for when the gardens were annihilated during and after the events of DB1. The corrosion meanwhile, I will not argue for it being "good", but it is in my opinion rather inoffensive in the grand scheme of things. #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

The antagonists were a mixed bag. The Harwood Crew was fantastic. The gardenmaster in his actions are cool, but in identity and backstory WHOLLY lacking. Which is a shame because I felt it could've made for an interesting followup on Swin and Nadia's story #Daybreak2Spoilers #DaybreakIISpoilers

Highlights are the Prologue, Act 2, Fragments, and the finale.
Things I found pretty good were most of Act 1 and most of Act 3.
Overture exists.
