My parents lived in Joplin. Their power went out and I checked twitter to see what was going and Jim Cantore was at the flattened hospital down street from my parents house!! There is a little forest in between untouched so they knew nothing. To tell them everything was gone I will always remember.

That’s great they are standing up against it at shows now. Back in day when I went whole crowd started doing the “Salute” in a small club. They didn’t say anything then but we immediately left the venue.
