EDI-BOS on Delta is much better than EDI-EWR on UA. Newer aircraft and functional WiFi even for free. The only low point is online checking fails when we book through other airlines.

Sad to see USENIX ATC to discontinue after this year despite the growing submissions, but understandable. It's interesting that young gens will see ATC in a way I see other historical confs like USITS and Mach Symposium.

Never occurred to me before. I guess the discussions are still out there to be searched as to why.
At the time I guess simplicity of coding was the answer. A lot of TCP IP design is about simple bit manipulation..
In practice it was never necessary. Still insightful from student.
