In the OECD on average, the gender pension gap declined by about 5 percentage points between 2007 and 2024.
The gap remains high in Japan, the Benelux countries, the UK, Austria, Switzerland and Mexico.
The smallest gaps are found in some Nordic and Central European countries: Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia.

On average, women's pensions are 23% lower than men's in the OECD. This gap reflects both past gender inequalities in the labour market - gender gaps in career length, hours worked and hourly wages - and redistributive elements in the pension system that can compensate for those.

ok tell me does this exist: a progressive, inclusive school, child-led, where parents (with DBS check) are allowed to come for part of the day, where the staff are throughly, profoundly trained in how to work with neurodivergent children?

and if it doesn't shall we start one?

Today we commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the Battle of Dumlupınar (30 August 1922), a defining moment in Turkish War of Independence. I honour with respect those who gave their lives and health for our homeland, & heroes who fought for freedom, led by Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

So pleased with the feedback & recommendations. In this new work, I am exploring whether the childcare gap matters for maternal employment from a macro perspective using country-year panel data. Early findings suggest it matters for the intensity of employment rather than the overall choice of it.
