Elected officials are expected to act in the best interest of the public. Passing legislation that directly benefits them financially seems to be an inappropriate use of power. Also, doesn’t this violate ethics rules about using their public office for personal gain?
He’s talking about energy costs, but he apparently doesn’t understand that gasoline, like you put in your car, is not the same as gas that is used for cooking or heating your home. Nature gas prices are actually higher than last year at this time.

For the sake of not spreading misinformation, there is no evidence that Barron dropped out of NYU. He apparently transferred to the DC campus. Whether he’s showing up for class or not, that’s another story, and yes, I agree he’s fair game.
Someone within the White House knew it was coming. They cleared the wing of its contents, and scheduled the demolition crew, yet no one thought to question the legality of this? They need to sit before the Senate to answer how they thought this could be done without oversight or approval.
I’d like to know “Who is complicit in the destruction of The East Wing?” Someone had to clear the contents of that wing. Someone scheduled the demolition crew. People knew it was coming, yet remained silent! Their names should be known for the history books as those who enabled this.
