Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons) I stopped by the pavilion on Lee Road at ARM-Lox NWR yesterday to see a Black-throated Green Warbler that was reported earlier but saw this Yellow-throated Vireo instead and was not disappointed at all. The Vireo was quite accommodating and displayed many poses. Boynton Beach, Florida, USA. (1/19/2025

Hummingbird and Butterfly
The Hummingbird was resting and preening when the butterfly came and started harassing him. The butterfly persisted until the Hummingbird flew away.
Florida Panther ( Puma concolor coryi)
Back in the old days, I found myself face to face with a Florida Panther and so I whipped out my camera and bravely took a picture of it. Fortunately, there was a glass pane separating me from the animal at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida.
