neither option is perfect or ideal, but try to take solace in the fact that people generally reveal who they are in time, and if this developer really is all of these things, it will, at some point, come to light and they will get the backlash that they deserve
1. as someone else stated, do what you can as an individual and dont support it.
2. create a throwaway account and leave a review or post that gives a warning about the behavior, but dont include specific details that could lead back to your friend.
the way i see it, there are two routes to take depending on how moved you feel to take action while also trying to minimize how it will affect your friend:
