Threyn’s face was racked with confusion as she walked down the somewhat shady pier.

Lady Ravenwood had called in a favor with an old contact for transport over sea… but was this the right ship?

Maybe if she can find the captain, she can ask them…

Lady Ravenwood is mostly at the academy nowadays, so Threyn is in charge of handling visitors at the manor.

The issue is that she’s not always informed when someone might be visiting, or any previous arrangements.

Walking to the gate, Threyn would greet the visitor, her voice soft.

Pink, glowing tentacles are idly coiling up her ankles as Threyn sits at a desk, reading a thick tome.

Boredom has set in, but Lady Ravenwood tasked her with reading it, so she’s not stopping until she’s at least a bit further in.

—softly, standing a bit awkardly, evidently nervous.

“I can provide demonstrations of magic taught at our academy, but the martial traditions… are currently on an excursion…”

“I… Uhh, I’m not sure whether miss Ravenwood has anything prepared… I’ll ask for you…”
Threyn said as she closed the gate behind Fiona.

Her eyes then flashed with a pink glow for a second, before she turned back to Fiora.

“Miss Ravenwood says she didn’t expect you for another week…”

Bowing deeply before the princess, the young elven sorceress tried to stick to etiquette she knew despite the title of the woman before her.

“It’s an honor to meet you princess…”
She spoke softly, not knowing why she was requested by the royal family yet.

“Oh! I… Uhhh, I wasn’t informed, was this a…”

Realizing that she was leaving the guest outside as of yet, she moved to the gate and unlocked it, opening it for Fiora.

“My apologies, miss Ravenwood didn’t inform me of anything…” she said, motioning for Fiora to enter.

Heading out to the estate’s gates, Threyn would look at the woman on the other side.

“You wished to speak to a representative of house Ravenwood?”
She asked, a bit confused as they rarely got visitors at the door.

A teapot is being handed from tentacle to tentacle down the hallway, in the direction of Threyn’s study.

Her control over her magic is renowned, but something so complex for a task so simple?
Is she just showing off, or maybe unaware of how complex this skill truly is?

The flash of those pink eyes followed the inability to disobey the caster's command.

"Stay!"
She had shouted, that snapping branch having foiled the attempted ambush.

Looking at you, bewildered, the short elf was starting to approach carefully.

"W-Who are you..."
She asked softly.

Her eyes narrowed at him suspiciously, her hand remaining trained on him.

Her eyes briefly flicker with a pink glow as he feels his mind probed, looking to verify his true intent.

“Why should… Should I tell you?”
Her voice was very calculating, not sure what to do yet.

Threyn quickly rose and turned around, raising her hand at the stranger.
A subtle pressure could be felt from every direction, more like a threat than an attack.

“Wh-… Who are you?”
Her voice was soft, but the look in her eyes was sharp.

Sat at a campfire, her tent pitched behind, Threyn was making dinner.

She’s got some sausages in a skillet, and she’s watching the fire as they sizzle.

The world seems so peaceful right now.

A look of relief washes over her face, despite her cheeks remaining a bright red.
She didn't even need to use magic to convince her... no wonder this woman got captured.

"...thank you, for wanting to help."
Her voice is soft as she tries to act bashful.

Threyn reaches out to try and cover Ellie's mouth, noticing the door being open.
Looking at the door, she swung it shut with her magic before looking back at Ellie.

"W-What Floa-"
A look of realisation hits Threyn's face, and she looks nervous suddenly.
"Uhh... It- It was uhh..."

Threyn's humming was disturbed as Ellie rushed to her side.
Her eyes opened slowly as she looked at her travel companion, a mild look of confusion on her face.

"Was it a-..." Clearly unaware of what happened, Threyn's eyes widened and her cheeks grew a bright shade of red at the suggestion of sex.

—the only sound that remained, a strange sense of calm radiating from her despite the explosive cacophony of magic that just subsided.

At the center of the room, Threyn laid in bed, her body thrashing as purple lightning bolts shot out from her chest, the bed hovering a couple of feet off the ground, but as soon as Ellie entered, the lightning bolts stopped and the bed dropped back down with a loud crash.
The mage’s humming was—

The humming from inside the room grew a bit louder as brighter flashes would leak out under the door.
A creaking also left her room as a wave of purple magic would emanate out, passing by Ellie and causing a weird feeling of pressure.

Something is going on in there.

A faint purple glow can be seen leaking out of the small gap in her room, pulsing with surprising intensity.
