You won't have to! This is just the final module planned for our Kingdoms mode. We already have another update planned after this release that will focus on reworking the Hellion and Leper.

Our third and final Kingdoms adventure module, Curse of the Court, comes to PC and Mac on August 28!

A supernatural contagion threatens to infect your lands and topple your Kingdom. Follow a new questline and face off against the Bloodsuckers, an all new enemy faction.

Memories recently received a rework as part of the Steadfast Steward’s update.

We improved a number of existing memories, and added the ability to re-roll them at the cost of candles so you can build up the ideal memory combination for each of your heroes!

The Steadfast Steward’s update added separate driving and combat speed controls to Darkest Dungeon II!

You can toggle on the Fast Combat and Fast Driving options in the Game section of the Options menu.

This is just one of the many community requested features we added in our recent update.

Players who have completed Darkest Dungeon II can now sell items in the Confessions game mode!

When all 5 acts have been completed, you can switch this feature on in the new Dam section of the Altar of Hope.

Once activated, you will be able to sell excess items to the Hoarder.

Thank you to our community who collaborated with us during this update’s public beta period.

This quality of life update includes 3 hero reworks, updates to ordainment and hero memories, speed settings and much more.

The Steadfast Steward's update is nearly ready for public release.

Over the past several weeks we’ve released 8 separate beta builds and collaborated closely with the community on this new update.

Our current plan is to get these remaining reworks out shortly after our next Kingdoms release.

For an idea of our timeline: after next week's update, our team will be completing their work on the final Kingdoms module (K3). Once the K3 module is released the priority will be Hellion and Leper.

Unfortunately no. When we began this process, we hoped to complete all 5 of our remaining hero reworks during our set beta period. However, as the weeks went on, we opted to dedicate a little more time to refining the changes we had made to the Plague Doctor, Occultist and Runaway.

This our last major update to the Steadfast Steward’s public beta. We’ll be doing final tuning and bug fixing over the next few days, including additional work to the Occultist, before we push all of those changes to the main “retail” branch late next week.
