I was recently interviewed for the Latvian legal journal Jurista VΔrds on the use of criminal sanctions in antitrust enforcement. The interview is now out (in Latvian). The Latvian Parliament rejected a proposal to criminalise cartels, but the policy debate on this issue continues in Latvia.

It looks like Czechia will be the 40th country in which I'll have presented my work. In Prague this month, alongside the Vice Chair of the Czech competition authority, I'll speak at a conference organised by the International Chamber of Commerce. It's been 25 years since my last visit. Can't wait!
