- Ilyusha as affectionate diminutive form, mostly for family (mother, grandmother etc.)
- Ilyukha for russian speaking friends, more common for males
but it's short enough to use on its own so most would just use it as it is

my mother's name is Svetlana so here's two interesting facts:
- the name was created by poet Zhukovsky in early 19th century for his same name ballad
- it's too long for common use so unless a person specifically asks, others would just use short form Sveta. Svetik is option if you want to tease

I am studying chinese, english and spanish in uni but my main linguistic love always was chinese and during other classes I am just hoping for the best instead of actually studying something. my spanish is so bad omg you can't even imagine. but it's my fourth language so it's understandable ig

today I learned that it's probably spanish's fault and it's actually common mistake for spanish native speakers while speaking in english haha

what I found interesting is that when authors trying to imitate Ilya's english, they usually drop pronoun "it" in sentences like "it's fine" which is funny bc russian speakers don't do that. It would be way more realistic for him to lose "is" bc we don't use it in our similar grammar construction

I have never been in a fandom so active before, it's like being in that kind of restauran where you pay only for enterance and then can eat as much as you want and the food keeps coming faster than you finish your meal

idk what I can bring to the fandom table. maybe I should made a spotify playlist with songs Ilya might have listen growing up in russia. he's just 5 years older than me so I actually have some guesses

and I usually can't complete even a youtube video longer than 5 minutes without few brainrot breaks so it really speaks a lot about how invested I was while watching
