Cumbria firm develops predator-spotting tech to keep women safe Rosie Richardson wants to shift the onus to self protect away from women and on to the authorities.

I really don't want to be unsympathetic, particularly about this issue, but I wonder about this.

Like many well-motivated inventions, it depends on its users being well-motivated as well.

Surely it could easily be hijacked by predators. And as for the police ...?

If you don't trust doctors why are you going to the hospital when you get measles... Go on the internet and do your own research. That's how you came to the conclusion not to vaccinate. Stick with that

US strikes on Iran ‘outside international law,’ says Macron Macron joins Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez in calling the legality of the strikes into question.

After four days of hesitating, the president of France has joined the prime minister of Spain in saying that the 🇺🇸🇮🇱 attack on Iran is a violation of international law.

But they are still the only 2 EU leaders to have done so. Will others join?

If they wanted to cynically embed their dogwhistles among moderate policies they would have to adopt the platform of the labour party

Also no one voted labour for this. If this was their priority, they had two other options. At least give up your soul for earthly reward, idiots.

Robert Jenrick is like a fairytale character who turns up on your doorstep, pale and smiling, when you, a political party, are about to die

Britishness, however much Reform et al try to relitigate it, is 90 per cent people saying nice things about you they don't mean before brutally disposing of you.

seems obvs to me that mamdani gets far because of his charm. why do "male self improvement" types always focus on things like looksmaxxing instead of personalitymaxxing or charmmaxxing?

I mean, really Socrates with the throng, but never mind. As a poet I obviously hate truth and want to dismantle it

They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

I don't know why but it just is quite funny that Sir Georg Solti is kicking everyone's ass at the Grammys
